Trinity Art Glass is a home-based studio operated
by Yvonne Pegoraro. The art glass studio produces stained glass windows, glass and metal sculpture, lampshades and fused glass
art. The artist incorporates copper sheeting and wire to add a unique dimension to the standard flat glass panels and lampshades. She designs
art pieces for a specific location taking into consideration exterior and interior lighting, color scheme and room lay out
to create art that will enhance and balance the environment. As a student of Feng Shui, she uses color, shapes and pattern
to incorporate the elements necessary to make each piece become an integral part of an environment.
Her design style has been developed over ten years
of stained glass design and manufacturing with two stained glass studios in Sonoma County. She was inspired by the stained
glass artist, Narcissus Quagliata, and took a design class from him in 1980. In 1983 she completed several courses taught
by Dan Fenton, which included fused glass, kiln building and sandblasting.
She entered the computer industry in 1989 where
she enjoyed a successful career. In May 2003 she decided to follow her heart's desire - to do what she loves. Her belief that
she must do what she loves has given her the courage to quit the computer industry and return to her love of art and glass.
She is currently experimenting with large fused glass pieces and glass casting.
She completed a welding class in 2007 and is excited about incorporating metal structures to support the glass.
